Quiet

I’ve noticed that there has been a massive drop off on comments recently. It seems strange, especially as Heather has been as prolific as normal (albeit commenting on non-atheist blogs more than usual) and I have been trying to comment a lot since I got back. Is this a naturally quiet period or have people given up commenting?

  1. I’m a little busy to the end of the month. There’s also the issue that some of the recent stuff is beyond my expertise. I could read round, but time is a problem. One entry where I might be able to comment could also be prohibited by the Official Secrets Act.

On a completely different subject I don’t think it’s a secret that the beach at Douneray is contaminated and dangerous to local life.

I would recommend saying something amusingly crazy to gain comments. Alas, you’ve been thoroughly beaten on that score. 🙂

Health warning: The author argues that Yoga is a religion practised by atheists. The rest of it isn’t so well supported by any evidence. I took him seriously and put in a couple of comments but was overwhelmed by a great sense of life being too short.

  2. Alun – thanks for the comment, you are certainly one of the regulars regarding comments!

To a small extent, the idea behind this aside was to see if I could tease any comments out of passing readers ( 🙂 ), however I have just had a quick look at that blog you linked to and… jeepers me … I am lost for words at the madness, however now I need to look at the site in more depth!

There really are some strange people out there…

  3. There have certainly been plenty of comment worthy posts recently, but whenever I come to comment, I never feel like I’ve written something worth reading. I have also been generally busy recently, so that has cut into my time. Perhaps when I feel I can offer more to a post, I will be more likely to comment.
