It may be a Blogger bork (adopting the principle of assuming good will) as it now says:
Blogger has been known to cough in the past which may be what has happened here. Time will tell.
Fair one. I was just being stupidly flippant, in any case.
I suspected as much 🙂 . However it may still be a blogger borkation…
Larry (the Barefoot Bum), has previously closed his blog (he stated there would be no new posts and no more comments allowed) after a disagreement with fellow communists (at the time he also declared that he was no longer a communist-but apparently later changed his mind) but then reopened it and began posting again. That fact and that this time it first gave the invited readers only message indicates to me that he was considering removing his blog completely. It appears that is what he’s done, but time will tell.
Sean, thanks for the background info. I hope he hasn’t gone for good – even if there are topics which we disagree completely over, debate and discussion is always a good thing.
His blog is back now. It was indeed him closing it. He’s restored the archives now but he’s closing it for good it seems.
