I see the church basically only permits it’s subjects to believe the fantastical and unprovable claims that fills it’s own coffers with lucre. Competition does not appear to be welcome. The seers or whatever they are called do not seem any more harmful than the elaborate male power structure of the church which has certainly made its participants wealthy. I recall my childhood days of watching the nuns, who lived communally in a house smaller than that enjoyed by the two priests, run the school, clean and cook and work all the day long while the priests were often seen putting their golf clubs in the truck of their new Buicks. What a crazy world that there are people left who partake of this sham.
I wonder if the real problem the church has with the seers is their failure to transcribe the “message’ in a way that validates the church’s supremacy. It seems the generic spiritually advocated is not quite the ringing endorsement the church hierarchy requires from it’s seers who bring messages from Heaven.
