WordPress Upgrade

For the techies amongst you, WP 2.6 is now on the streets. (and has been for over a week – but I’ve been away). The promo video is:

When I get back to my proper PC, real content will be blogged once more.

  1. I agree with you 100% here.

It infuriates me that I have to mess about downloading an update and then FTPing it to the server. I wish it was as easy as updating the plugins!

  2. It annoys me that they never tell you clearly what the update will do. I’ve made a few edits to the code on my blog and every time I update WP I have to reapply them. (Of course, I should learn to make a plugin, but I haven’t.) I ignore some updates because I don’t think their improvements will be worth the time spent updating, but I almost never get to base that decision on anything much.
