It crashes more, eats more system resources, slower, and hates certain applications (although, it doesn't have a problem with Opera and a 3G network connection in my machine). That's why I still use XP in my main machine. Linux is ok, but I'm just too lazy to recompile every driver to work with my laptop. Or opening the console because the GUI frontend is incomplete or buggy (next time you browse through a software repository, note the version numbers below 1.0 or has BETA in the name). Why even bother choosing between KDE or Gnome? You'll end up with the terminal if you want things done. I know, the command line is 1337 but aren't we in the 21st century already? I dont think I will ever forgive Ubuntu and SuSE for putting me through weeks of hell trying to get my hardware working, and, as a result, I cant see me rushing back to them.
