My favorite guru’s and I use that term lightly would have to be the powerhouses of the lose weight fast plan, atkins, weightwatchers etc. The ones that like to sell you food every month and keep you coming back, because sooner or later it’ll work right?? The only thing that’s working is there billion dollar plus bank accounts. They don’t want to tell you the real reason your overweight, because if you knew than you could fix it and than there goes there money. Lying bastards, and for one of the worst of the seven sins..greed..simply greed at other people’s expense both physically and financially.

Really I agree that small changes are best for weight loss – you don’t keep it up unless you make sustainable diet changes. The diet fads only attract people who are after an easy way out – or who just don’t know enough about health to make informed choices. With what they teach in schools these days it’s not suprising that a lot of people have no clue about healthy eating.

I have and it is helping me to maintain my weight. When you get to middle age, you will find that you will gain weight without over eating and this gained weight is very hard to get rid off.
