I will be writing something loosely connected to it very soon.

Circa 1982, some friends and I devised a live action dramatic interpretation, also (very) loosely based on this majestic title. We performed it once, as callow and hopeless street performers, in Covent Garden. As far as I recall, not one passer-by thought it worthy of a few pennies in the hat.
