I tried phoning them - "all our contacts are busy right now. Please phone back later." and that was after 5 minutes on hold. Nothing anywhere to let you know server status. What company the size of 1and1 has no service status pages? It is ridiculous and I am now looking for a more robust and suitable host for my sites. Fortunately, it does not seem to have effected the Web Design service’s email, which appears to be getting through fine. It appears our server provider (1&1) have had an email outage and not felt it important enough to inform customers of this - nor put any links on the web admin panel.
