FYI - I just went through this installing Apache 2.2 on a workstation that was already running CFMX 7.0 Developer. I downloaded the new Jar from http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=8001e97 and then ran the WSConfig GUI again. After I restarted the Apache2 service it ran fine.

http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=8001e97

This is an update for coldfusion 7 to work with Apache 2.2.

I get this error on a variety of systems. It seems that despite what Abobe/Macromedia claim, the cold fusion server is pretty much only set up to run on Apache 2.0.23 on Windows.

Shocking.
